Local authorities across the country issued a notice to their residents instructing them to open the shelters in order to prepare for the possibility of a security escalation. This decision comes against the backdrop of the assassination of senior members of the Revolutionary Guards in Syria last Monday.
Tel Aviv, Kfar Saba and Pardes Hana-Karkur conducted a special situation assessment and an instruction was given to open shelters throughout the city. However, they wrote that there are no concrete guidelines in the area.
