The Israeli army has killed two more leaders of Islamic Jihad in bombings on the Gaza Strip on Thursday. The offensive has killed at least 29 Palestinians since Tuesday, in the worst spike in violence in months.

Hours after Thursday's attack, Israeli police said a missile fired from the Strip killed one person and wounded at least five others when it hit a residential building in Rehovot, near Tel Aviv. The escalation between Israeli forces and militias in the enclave has already cost the lives of 29 Palestinians, of whom at least 15 are civilians.
