Israel passed a law banning Al Jazeera news network broadcasts in the country. The law was approved by 70 votes in favor and 10 against, and prohibits the broadcast of content from the Qatari channel.
In January, Israel had accused a journalist from that network of being a "terrorist agent." The Israeli Parliament approved this Monday a law that allows the dissemination in Israel of theQatari media Al Jazeera. The regulation was promoted by the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, who said he would use it "immediately"
