Israeli hostage recounts sexual assaults suffered during captivity in Gaza. Amit Soussana, a 40-year-old Israeli lawyer, was kidnapped from her home on Kibbutz Kfar Aza during the attack by Hamas commandos in southern Israel.
Around 250 people were kidnapped on October 7 in Israel and 130 of them are still hostages in Gaza, of whom 34 are dead. A UN report published in early March reported sexual violence committed by members of Hamas during the October 7 attack, which left more than 1,160 dead.
