A 24-year-old man of Belarusian origin was driving his van on a ski slope in an Italian resort when he was spotted by local skiers. The driver, who intended to go to France to “deliver fabrics”, declared that he wanted to avoid paying the toll for the Mont-Blanc tunnel.
A check revealed that he was indeed transporting tissue. The man was finally forced to pay a fine of 200 euros and take the famous tunnel to reach France.
