The International Monetary Fund said Tuesday that Italy's GDP will rise by 0.7% in 2024 and by 1.1% in 2025. It thus confirmed its previous forecast for this year and upped its forecast for next, in its World Economic Outlook.

With 0.6% growth, Italy will outgrow the UK (+0.6%) and Germany(+0.5%) in 2024. The IMF says it expects Italy's economy to grow 0.8% this year, 0.9% next year and 1.0% by 2025.
