Italy has made its voice heard in EU under me - Meloni - Politics. Premier Giorgia Meloni said Italy has been a lead player at the EU level under her, especially on shaping the bloc's approach to the issue of migrants.
Meloni is on an official visit to Japan and is having a bilateral meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on Monday. She hailed the "cultural turning point" with which the other states and EU institutions have "progressively" come to agree with the Italian position.
