Will compete for the Palme d'Or at the 77th Cannes Film Festival (14-25 May 2024) This was announced today at a conference by the general delegate Thierry Fremaux in a program where cinema from all over the world finds space. Another Italian, in competition at Un certain regard, is Roberto Minervini with The Damned. It is worth highlighting in the centenary year Marcello Mio, a film declared a tribute to the great Mastroianni with Catherine Deneuve and Chiara Mastroiansi in cast. The film is directed by the Frenchman Christophe Honorè, and is called Marcella Mio. The festival will take place from 14 to 25 May 2024 at the Grand Palais in Cannes, France, and will be open to the public.
