The obverse of the coin shows a portrait of Carrà inside a television screen next to the inscription "Repubblica Italiana" It is an edition for collectors, which is not intended for current commercial use, and whose official starting price is 40 euros (different from its nominal value), with a first print run of 15,000 coinsdesigned by Silvia Petrassi.
