Italy wants 8 artworks plundered by Nazis back from Belgrade. The paintings include works by Tintoretto, Paolo Veneziano and SpinelloAretino.

The works are from the fifteenth, sixteenth and 17th centuries, Italy says. Rome now says there may be as many as 17 Nazi-looted works held by Belgrade, which has a museum in the Serbian capital, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the Nazis had a base.
