Ivry pays tribute to Missak Manouchian: “He will rest in the Pantheon, but his memory remains present here” On February 21, 1944, in Mont-Valérien, 23 resistance fighters were shot, including 20 immigrants. Referred to as the “Manouchian-Boczov Group”, they were made famous by a red Nazi propaganda poster.

This Wednesday, February 7, the rain ran down the cheeks of the fifteen flag bearers from all over France and gathered at the Parisian cemetery of Ivry.
