Pradel and his colleague Christian Porte have launched a petition to demand a debate on this principle of law. It has already collected nearly 20,000 signatures. The petition is addressed to the President of the Republic and the Minister of Justice. For blood crimes, “this legal pardon is no longer bearable for society’.
