Deputies received a net amount of $2,174,887 for the month of February, to which must be added what is received for uprooting, which reached $464,090.29. This update in the allowances is based on the so-called "Enganche Law" that since 2011 allows deputies and senators to receive the same increase granted to Congressional staff.
The increase was granted in two installments of 16% in January and 12% in February. The national deputies of the Left Front were the only ones who rejected the increase of Menem and Villarruel.
