Jeff Bezos will save more than $600 million in taxes by moving to Miami. The founder of Amazon announced his move at the end of 2023 after spending more than 30 years in Seattle, after Washington imposed a tax that affected its operations.
Since 1998, Bezos has sold billions of dollars in Amazon stock almost every year for more than two decades to fund his philanthropy, his space company Blue Origin and, most recently, his $500 million megayacht and a growing collection of mansions.
