Joggers save capsized rower from drowning. All those involved only suffered short-term hypothermia.
The 49-year-old capsized his recreational boat through his own fault and was in danger of drowning because he was unable to free himself from the footrest. Two joggers who happened to be walking along the side of the track noticed the accident, jumped into the water without hesitation and rushed to the man's aid. The rower narrowly escaped death on the Oberschleißheim regatta course.
