Hollywood icon Johnny Depp arrived in Turin Monday to film the Italy-set scenes of his second directorial effort, Modì. The film is about the life of tormented early 20th century Paris-based Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani.
It is the second feature directed by the 60-year-old Depp after 1997's The Brave where he also acted alongside Marlon Brando. Italian star Riccardo Scamarcio playsModigliani, while the film also features Al Pacino, Stephen Graham, Luisi Ranieri and SallyPhillips.
