Cédric Jubillar has been detained in Seysses prison, near Toulouse, since 18 June 2021. He is accused of the murder of his wife Delphine, nurse and mother of two children.

She disappeared from her home in Cagnac-les-Mines, in the middle of a curfew related to the Covid-19 pandemic. The couple was in the process of divorcing and had been separated for some time. The prison is "one of the worst in France, in conditions of detention that are deplorable"
