Judge decides: Prison conditions for Klette are tough - RAF terrorist is at risk of escape. Klette is currently in custody in the women's prison in Vechta.
Investigators accuse Klette, who was arrested in Berlin at the end of February 2024, of attempted murder, bomb attacks and armed robbery. Like her accomplices Burkhard Garweg and Ernst-Volker Staub, she belonged to the so-called third generation of the left-wing extremist RAF. The RAF declared itself disbanded in 1998 after carrying out numerous attacks and killing people until 1991.
