Banfield's technical director Julio César Falcioni was urgently admitted this Friday to the Finochietto Sanatorium in the city of Buenos Aires. The 68-year-old suffered a decompensation during the South club's training.
He was quickly assisted by the club's doctors at the facility located in Luis Guillón and will remain hospitalized for observation. Years ago he had to overcome laryngeal cancer that forced him to undergo 35 chemotherapy sessions, two weeks in intensive care and 13-hour surgery.
