[HIGHLIGHTS] June Crespo, sculptor: “In my works there is something that borders on the idea of ​​the monument, but without the monumental”

Sculptor June Crespo will have a solo exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. The 42-year-old from Pamplona is one of the last stations on a path of modern Basque sculpture.

She was one of only two artists selected by the curator Cecilia Alemani for the 2022 Venice Biennale. The artist shared space with Polish artist Anowska Grzeska at the Biennal. The exhibition will run from March 1 to June 30.
