Kate Middleton (41) made a surprise visit to the world-famous Chelsea Flower Show in London on Monday. She unexpectedly joined children from ten different primary schools who were picnicking on a lawn next to the stands.
The meeting under a large horse chestnut tree is part of an initiative that aims to bring children closer to gardening and nature. The mum-of-three patiently shared what the best thing about her job is – "meeting kids like you" But for security reasons, autographs and selfies are a royal no-go.
