Kaufering triathlete Tom Weikert recently faced a completely different kind of challenge in the Dolomites. In the small town of Canazei he took part in a special marathon - the SellaRonda ski marathon.
It is one of the most prestigious ski mountaineering races in South Tyrol. It involves not only a quick climb but also a quick descent on skis in a beautiful mountain landscape. More than 1,000 participants took to the track in teams of two.
