Kicillof's Security Minister confirmed that they are sending 400 troops to Rosario. Javier Alonso warned that they seek to prevent the arrival of drug violence in Buenos Aires.

"The people of Buenos Aires are going to be angry if in a few months they start killing innocents here", he said. The troops will be from the Immediate Operations Tactical Unit (UTOI), who would join in carrying out logistical collaboration, according to Alonso on Cadena 3 Rosario, a local radio station.
