Russia launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine, hitting energy facilities in five regions, including Odessa. 16 out of 17 Shahed-type drones launched by Russia overnight were intercepted by Ukrainian air defense units.
The Russian army, writes the Kyiv Independent, attacked the Nikopol district with FPV drones. Two UAVs hit the community of Myrove, damaging two houses. Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo announced an investigation into the Russian propaganda networks busted by the Belgian and Czech intelligence services. The only way to get Putin to sit at the table is for a Ukraine capable of resisting the offensive and the attack, says the Italian Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani. "We will continue to support Ukraine with a view to peace," says Tajani, adding that the aid given to that country is not aimed at peace; we are helping from all points of view. The death toll from a Russian missile attack on Odessa has risen to six after a 56-year-old man died in hospital.
