Auriane Nathalie Lais was found dead last Friday in the former chapel of the Equilivaz hamlet, above La Salle in Valle d'Aosta. The girl was officially identified by her parents who arrived from France.

Teima Sohaib, 21 years old of Italian nationality, was arrested by the Gendarmerie, suspected of having killed the girl. She is believed to have killed the 22-year-old girl on Friday night in Saint-Priest, a town in the metropolitan area of Lyon. The investigation into the girl's death is ongoing, the police said in a statement today. The case is being investigated by the prosecutor's office in Lyon, the statement said.
