Killed woman lay in apartment for months: husband arrested. According to his own statement, he killed his wife in their shared apartment at the end of November.
The body was found there at the beginning of March. Witnesses said the woman had been missing from her workplace for months and finally alerted the police. The 54-year-old was arrested at Stuttgart Central Station just last Sunday. An arrest warrant was issued against the German on strong suspicion of murder. The police did not comment on the question of how the woman was killed and whether the man stayed in the apartment any longer after the crime.
