Balmoral Castle, residence of the British royal family in Scotland, will open its doors to the public for the first time in July. Tickets for the guided tour of the interior of the castle were all sold out within a few hours during the day on Wednesday.
A total of 40 tickets were available for sale each day from July 1 to August 4. The experience still costs a whopping 100 pounds sterling (around 117 euros) or even 150 pounds (175 euros) if you choose the “afternoon tea” option.
