Kompatscher elected president of the regional council - News.com.au. Arno Kompatcher was elected president with 36 votes.
The election took place on the second ballot. During the first vote, KompATscher had not obtained the required majority of 36 votes (out of 67 voters), stopping at 35 preferences. We then proceeded with a second vote, which was repeated twice: the first time it was canceled because a councilor would have deposited the open paper.
