L'Aquila earthquake, a tribute work at MAXXI on the 15th anniversary - Abruzzo. Two large butterfly wings, blue like freedom and gray like rock, will welcome visitors from 5 to 21 April in the exedra courtyard of Palazzo Ardinghelli.
'In a flap of wings', symbol of the soul, of transformation, of hope, of beauty and, at the same time, of the inconsistency of happiness. The installation, which received the patronage and contribution of the Municipality of L’Aquila, was inaugurated on 5 April.
