[HIGHLIGHTS] Lack of space in prison, non-execution of sentences, partiality: these truths about justice from a magistrate

Béatrice Brugère has been a criminal magistrate for twenty years and head of the SNM-FO Magistrates Unit Union. Prison places have increased by 19.5% since 2000, but this was largely insufficient to absorb the flow of admissions to detention, which increased by more than 30%.
