Green Party member of parliament Gabriele Triebel succeeds Manfred Deiler as President of the European Holocaust Memorial Foundation. She wants to expand the educational work with a new team and make the memorial more present on social media.
She also wants to intensify discussions with the Bavarian Memorial Foundation and the Ministry of Culture, “with the aim of creating a facility at Camp VII that will be operated by the Bavarians in the future,” said Triebe. The European Holocaust memorial foundation was founded in 1947.
