Large-scale operation in downtown Nienburg: policewoman shot. Several shots were allegedly fired on Friedrichstrasse, just a stone's throw from the train station, around 10:45 a.m.
Shortly afterwards, an injured man was taken to the Helios Clinic in Nienberg in an ambulance. According to information from the BILD newspaper, the injured person is said to be a police officer. Witnesses reported hearing seven shots in quick succession. The police have not yet commented on the incidents.
