Life insurance less popular in 2023 and in competition with Livret A. More and more savers are becoming interested in alternative solutions such as retirement savings plans.
Total outstanding amount of life insurance products has reached a record level at the end of December, at 1,923 billion euros. The rates of return on euro funds, guaranteed in capital, are increasing significantly, even if they have not yet reached the 3% net oflivret A, the France Assureurs federation says.
