The Schuhhaus Roos shoe store in Garching has been around since 1962. Christa Roos, 71, has handed over management of the business to her daughter Anna Reif, 36.
The shop also offers shoe repairs, but don't do it ourselves, says Reif. “We have many regular customers who come from Garching, Unterschleißheim, Dietersheim and even Munich,” says Roos. The store is known beyond the city limits and is known to many.
