London claims to have found a “good” agreement with the unionists of Northern Ireland. Once the agreement is adopted, the Northern Irish local assembly will be able to elect a president and appoint a Prime Minister.

Brussels has not yet reacted to London's concessions, which could call into question the agreements signed on the post-Brexit status. The agreement is expected to reduce checks and red tape for goods transported from the island of Great Britain to Northern Ireland, a red line for unionists.
