Nelson was convicted of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl and making indecent propositions to another. He was sentenced to three years in prison, two of which were suspended.
He is also prohibited from coming into contact with the victims - there are two in total - or from appearing at their homes. The former coach at the Longueville football club is also banned from working in contact with minors for ten years.
