[HIGHLIGHTS] Low altitude snowfall in the Alps, Jura, Massif Central and Pyrenees

Rain-snow limit is currently at 800 m in the west of the Pyrenees. In the south of the Alps, it is at 1300 m.

By Wednesday morning, several tens of centimeters of snow are expected locally at altitude. The Hautes-Alpes and the Mercantour sector are among the most exposed sectors. Between 10 cm and 20 cm are expected in the Massif Central, up to around forty in the Pyrenes. At altitude, more than 50 cm of powder snow is expected in certain areas.
