Social Minister Manfred Lucha (Greens) rejected the allegations. It is still unclear whether the death in “Lazy Fur’ was related to drugs. But: “The spread and consumption of addictive substances cannot be completely ruled out in the penal system,” said Lucha. The use of the former prison for correctional measures is planned as an interim solution until the summer of 2025.
