Macron decorated Bernard Arnault at the Élysée in the presence of Beyoncé and Elon Musk. The CEO of LVMH received the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honor from the Head of State on Wednesday evening.
Many personalities from all over the world attended the ceremony. Jeff Koons and Vincent Bolloré were also among the personalities present, as was pianist Lang Lang, who played Chopin. At 75 years old, Bernard Arnaults is today the richest man in the world with assets estimated at 230 billion dollars, ahead of Elon Musk and his 210 billion dollars.
