Emmanuel Macron will travel early next week to Normandy to celebrate Monday, June 5 the millennium of the abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel. He will then launch Tuesday, in Calvados, the preparations for the 80th anniversary of the allied landing of June 6, 1944 which will take place in 2024.

The most visited site in the country outside Île-de-France, Mont-StMichel attracted 2.8 million visitors last year. This trip will coincide with the new day of union mobilization against the pension reform.
