Macron will receive Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic at the Élysée on Monday. The two presidents will also discuss the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the fields of defense, energy, innovation and artificial intelligence.
Animosity between Kosovo and Serbia has persisted since the war between Serbian forces and Albanian insurgents in the late 1990s. Kosovo authorities launched the country's first census in more than 10 years on Friday, amid growing tensions with the Serbian community, with the main Serbian party calling for a boycott.
