Maire builds hydrogen plant in Eni Livorno refinery - Finance & Business. Kinetics technology (Kt), a subsidiary of the Maire group, has been awarded an Energy performance contract (Epc) by Eni for the construction of a hydrogen production plant in the Eni refinery in Livorno.
The plant will process natural gas and raw materials biogenic waste such as cooking oils and animal fats, to produce hydrogen intended for the production of biofuels for mobility.
