Mariano Navone beat Swiss Stan Wawrinka 3-6, 7-5 and 6-2 in the ATP 250 in Marrakech. The Argentine achieved his first two ATP victories outside of South America.

Navone is playing only his fourth main draw in a tournament on the most important men's tennis circuit. He now waits for the winner of the clash between the Austrian Sebastien Ofner and the Australian Aleksandar Vukic, with the hope of continuing to take another step and grow.
