The Marmande tomato is one of the early fruiting vegetables to harvest from July. The yellow flowers, with 5 petals, appear from June to September.

Sowing can be started under cover from March, during the waxing moon. The yield is 3 to 6 kg of Marmandes per plant, which can be propagated by cuttings. It is subject to many tomato diseases such as mildew or aphid infestations. The plant is tolerant of coolness, but must be protected from frost.
