An investigation was opened and entrusted to the IGPN, the police force, for suspicion of corruption against police officers from the Anti-Narcotics Office in Marseille. The Marseille branch of Ofast had been searched at the beginning of April by the General Inspectorate of the National Police, as revealed by Le Parisian.

This search, which took place while the police were ultra-mobilized by the “Place Net XXL” anti-drug operations, made it possible to seize telephones and computers, indicates the daily. The investigation opened in January, notably for corruption, targets a group of investigators “following things which appeared strange” during an investigation, says a police source. At this stage, there has been no custody in this case, the Marseille prosecutor’s office did not wish to comment on this matter. The IGPN has not commented on the matter. It is not known if any of the officers involved have been arrested.
