Last August, waste accumulated in the corridors of Saint-Charles station after a strike by station cleaners. Even more striking: at the start of 2022, the Marseille city saw mountains of waste piling up in its streets due to garbage collectors at the initiative of the Force Ouvrière (FO) union.
