A video created using artificial intelligence shows a dystopian Germany after right-wing extremist parties have come to power. The Hamburg film production company Ponywurst Productions published it under the title “Grandma, what was this Germany again?” The video begins in a futuristic pavilion-like new housing development in North Africa in the year 2060.

The so-called remigration – recently known as “exodus” in 2060 – has permanently changed the face of the once democratic Germany. According to the filmmakers, the video should serve as a “thought aid” to the possible consequences of the current political situation in Germany. The makers of the video want to point out that it is possible to live in a country with a population of 15 million people in ten to fifteen years. The video was published on Friday on the short message service X, to which they attached the video of the dystopian Germany. In the text accompanying the video, they refer to the plans for a secret “deportation’ in a villa in Potsdam, which came to light in February.
