Jean-François Achilli, from Franceinfo, was suspended from his duties, and to this day, the suspension still stands. Le Monde accused him of preparing a book co-written with Jordan Bardella, which both denied.

But this rumor was in itself an accusation: Bardella would have approached Achilli to consult him about a book for which he would perhaps even seek a penholder. Achilli would have refused. End of story, theoretically. But not here, apparently. Because the simple fact that the RN allowed himself to approach Achilli therefore meant that he considered him approachable. Which means that the latter, towards him, did not display constant hostility…
