National Academies of Sciences of the G7 countries have produced documents on six major topics of global interest. The topics include Nuclear Arms Control, Health, Cultural Heritage Science, Agriculture, Artificial Intelligence, Inequalities social.

The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, said he hopes these suggestions and considerations will be fully accepted by G7 and the entire international community. "Science offers opportunities, it is then up to the institutions to make the best use of them," said President Mattarella at a meeting of the National Academies on the S7 + SSH7 Academic Summit at the Quirinale this morning. The conference is entitled "Science for the Future. Challenges, Responsibilities and Opportunities" and is being organized by the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, the Italian Academy of Sciences, and the Italian Institute of Sciences and Technology, the Institute of Technology and the University of Turin, the universities of Bologna and Padua, the Universities of Milan and Brescia.
