James Buscail was a close collaborator of the mayor of Meaux, Jean-François Copé. He died of a heart attack on Monday at the age of 48.

The funeral will be celebrated at Saint-Étienne Cathedral in Meaux on Monday. He held two DEA - advanced studies diplomas, now Master 2 -: one in administrative and legal sciences and the other in philosophy. The deceased is presented as a man who spent a lot of time with his children. He had a great passion for running and for the Pâtis park where he practiced it. He participated in numerous sporting events including obstacle races. He is survived by his wife, Magalie, and four children: Juliette, 15, Jean, 9 years old, and two children from a previous union: Romain, 26 years old and Perle, 19 years old. They are all devastated by the loss of their father. He will be buried at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 15.
